Getting here

Four turns, then the farm

  1. 01

    From Makawao

    Drive about 1.5 miles east of the Makawao stop sign along Kaupakalua Road.

  2. 02

    Past Kokomo

    Just past the Kokomo stop sign, watch the right-hand side of the road.

  3. 03

    Organic Tomatoes

    Turn in at the Organic Tomatoes sign. Drive straight. The wooden shala appears on your right.

  4. 04

    Park

    Park on the lawn next to the studio, or in the spaces behind the building.

Before you come

Your first practice

  • Arrive with time

    Mysore hours are a revolving door from 7–10am. Most people practice about 90 minutes. Give yourself a few quiet minutes before you unroll.

  • What to bring

    A mat if you have one. Water. Soft clothes you can move in. Leave perfume and heavy scent at home.

  • New to Mysore

    Say hello when you arrive. Sammy will meet you where you are. Beginners are welcome.

Daily practice

Monday–Friday, 7am–10am

It’s not a three-hour class. 7–10am are revolving-door hours. Arrive when it works for you; most students practice about 90 minutes.
